Grassroots direct consumption
A CSA is the best way to support a local farm, by investing in their crops for the whole season and sharing the risks and benefits of farming. CSA sign-ups usually happen at the beginning of the season, when farmers need capital to pay for operating expenses like seeds, potting soil, new tools and equipment, and labor. CSA members are the backbone of our farm, and we could not do what we do without them. In exchange for your membership, you get the best of our diverse high quality crops to enjoy a balanced and nutritious diet, that is also tasty.
We farm for you, and the membership is much cheaper than shopping from us at the farmers market weekly, or other retail stores where you may find similar quality produce.
Why Join Our CSA?
We have a wide variety of high quality organically grown produce and members get to customize (choose their own share) weekly for 24 weeks.
We have several different pickup locations and you can choose which one you want to get your share from, and switch if needed on a weekly basis. This is great for people who need a flexible schedule!
We love our CSA community. We don’t think we could exist as a small farm without them, and this is our 14th year doing a CSA program.
When is the CSA?
Our 2025 season goes from June 8th through November 16th.
A total of 24 weeks.
We recommend the full season to enjoy ALL of our diverse crops.
We offer full and half shares!
A full share is $875.
A half share is $600.
A full share is 8 items weekly (enough for a family of 4 or more); a half share is 5 items weekly (enough for 1-3 people depending on how much everyone eats).
We also have quarter shares for those who may just want the summer season:
13 weeks for $320. These 13 weeks can be consecutive for the summers season or spaced biweekly throughout the whole growing season.
What is in a share?
A half share is 5 items. A full share is 8 items.
An item is a bunch, quart, pint, or bag depending on what the specific variety is.
Example of a half share: a bunch of cilantro, a pint of garlic, a quart of potatoes, a 1/2 lb bag of salad, and a quart of peppers.
Example of a full share: a quart of onions, a bunch of turnips, a pint of cherry tomatoes, a large napa cabbage, a bunch of carrots, a pint of jalapenos, 2 heads of lettuce, and a bunch of parsley.
